Geelong is easy to get to, with convenient road, rail and air options. Just over an hour from Melbourne by car or V/Line train, it’s also close to Avalon Airport, making travel from both near and far simple and accessible.

There are also many accommodation options available, both at the venue and around Geelong.

Geelong is about 75 kilometers (46 miles) southwest of Melbourne via car.

The drive takes about 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes, depending on city traffic.

Head across the West Gate Bridge and onto the M1 (Princes Freeway) straight toward Geelong.

Geelong train station is 300m from convention centre

Taking the train from Melbourne to Geelong is highly efficient, usually taking around 1 hour (ranging from 50 to 65 minutes depending on whether it is an express or stopping service).

Services depart from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne CBD.

Trains run roughly every 20 to 30 minutes during peak hours and throughout the day.

Sail between Victoria and Tasmania via Spirit of Tasmania Quay in Geelong and the Devonport terminal.

Avalon airport 22km from convention centre

MyBus operates routes between Avalon and Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast.
